ICEF Once Again Comes First in HeadHunter Rankings
For the second year, ICEF leads the HeadHunter ranking of top Russian universities and faculties in economics and finance. Analysts from hh.ru examined the CV database of 2021–2022 graduates of Moscow universities on the hh.ru website. The ranking covered nine professional fields.
HSE University Launches Its First Cross-Campus Bachelor’s Programme

Study Helps Explain Why Students Cheat
Evgeniia Shmeleva and Egor Sagitov of the HSE Institute of Education examined the relationship between how study sessions are designed and the likelihood of students’ cheating. They found students more inclined to cheat when expected to learn by rewriting and retelling the study material and more likely to be honest when engaged in interactive learning activities such as debates.

HSE University is represented in more subjects (10—an increase from 8 last year) in the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects than any other Russian university.
Professional Athletes Perform Better against Former Clubs, According to Research
A team of Russian researchers affiliated with the HSE University, RANEPA, and NES found professional athletes to perform better against their former clubs. At least in some circumstances, emotions seem to have a greater effect on their performance than knowledge of the opponent's tactics. The study's findings are published in the Journal of Behavioural and Experimental Economics and may be useful for coaches, sports managers, and bookmakers.
‘A High Concentration of Intercultural Communications’
The team of the HSE International Preparatory Year said goodbye to its students at a graduation party that took place at the HSE Cultural Centre. 197 students from 58 countries graduated from the programme this year. They learned Russian and profile subjects in Russian, which has helped over 100 of them to enrol in degree programmes at HSE University.

HSE Art and Design School Graduates Put On Fashion Show
On July 11, the last day of classes, graduates of the bachelor’s and master’s programmes in Fashion held a fashion show at the HSE Art and Design School. Young designers presented collections that reflected their personal experiences—from contemplations of difficult teenage years to worries about modern realities.
