Last year, a team of Advanced Urban Design students from the Graduate School of Urbanism and Strelka Institute embarked on a research expedition to Johannesburg, where they studied problems associated with food security, poverty and inequality.

‘I Chose the Programme for Its Flexibility’

HSE Students Turn Books and Museums into Transmedia Stories
For two years in a row, students in the Master’s programme in Transmedia Production in Digital Industries have worked closely with publishing and museum experts, as well as lecturers from the HSE School of Media to reinvent the role of printed books and the traditional tasks of Russian museums. Some of their book projects were presented at the Non-fiction exhibition this year, and the museum projects will be implemented for the public.

HSE Graduate Applies Lessons to Work in Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs
Since 2008, Indra Prasetya has been working as Chief of Protocol at the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs. A graduate of Gadjah Mada University with a degree in Social and Political Science, the 33-year old native of Kebumen, Indonesia went on to spend two years in the HSE Public Policy Department studying Political Analysis and Public Policy.

Winners of the First International Competition ‘Cities for a Flying World’ Announced
HSE Graduate School of Urbanism has announced the results of the first international contest for students and young professionals ‘Cities For a Flying World’. Open Doors Competition Gives International Students Opportunity to Study in Russia
Registration is now open for the Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project, Russia’s first competition for international students applying to Master’s programmes. With registration open until January 15, 2018, the competition consists of two remote stages: a portfolio contest and an online contest. The first stage will take place from December 1 to January 15.
