In 2018, HSE Moscow is enrolling students in 5 bachelor's programmes where they will study in English. Graduates of these programmes receive two diplomas – Russian and international. One of the programmes includes an obligatory internship abroad. International students can apply online until August 10.

Researchers from the Higher School of Economics conducted a meta-analysis by compiling data across 17 neuroimaging studies on working memory in children.The data obtained shows concordance in frontoparietal regions recognized for their role in working memory as well as regions not typically highlighted as part of the working memory network, such as the insula.

Interest in HSE's new bachelor’s programme with the University of London – a double degree programme in Data Science and Business Analytics – has been extremely high. The HSE Faculty of Physics and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) have reached an agreement on a joint partnership. From the beginning of the next academic year, students from the faculty will be able to carry out internships at the institute’s various research laboratories.

The HSE Summer University is off to a strong start this year, and one of its programmes – the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Mathematics – has already been met with considerable enthusiasm by participating students. When a classroom is well-organized, children not only feel comfortable, but also learn more effectively. Ways to create such a space were discussed at the research seminar ‘Design of educational spaces’, which was held at the Center of Leadership Development in Education at HSE’s Institute of Education on July 12-13.
