While studying for an MA in the Governance of Science, Technology, and Innovation at the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge, students can put themselves forward for internships in leading innovative companies, state agencies, or international organizations.  This year, five candidates were shortlisted in preliminary selection rounds and Anastasia Trunina was the one chosen to do an internship at OECD. She has spoken to HSE News Service about the OECD Directorate for Science, Technology, and Innovation projects she was involved in this summer.

Students on the Integrated Communications Master’s programme won first place at the Case Lab: practical solutions for science communication problems contest. The competition was organised jointly by SPN Communications and the Russian Venture Company RVC as part of the Communications Laboratory project.

HSE Design Lab have created a branding construction kit to modernise design in schools. Even non-specialists can use it to create a trademark style which could help promote their school more successfully. The Russian Summer School in Information Retrieval (RuSSIR 2015) is taking place from August 24 th  – 28 th , 2015, in the new university building on Kantemirovskaya. This year the school has been organized by the HSE Internet Studies Lab and the Russian Information Retrieval Evaluation Seminar (ROMIP).
