Professor Ludo Pyis Visits the HSE Perm
From February 27 to March 6, Professor Ludo Pyis will deliver lectures at the HSE Perm. Professor Pyis is an instructor at Management Centre Europe in Brussels, Belgium. He has served as a visiting professor at universities in Belgium, Switzerland, Thailand, France, Bulgaria, Great Britain, and Turkey, and has worked for such companies as Hewlett Packard and General Motors. In 1992, he founded the management consulting group AREOPA, which focuses on improving business processes, calculating intellectual capital, and managing learning and knowledge.
Professor Pyis will read the course Intellectual Capital Accounting for the HSE Perm’s master’s programmes. The course’s objective is to familiarize students with the concept of intellectual capital, the models and methods for calculating it, and the way in which it is reflected in reporting. Eighteen master’s students of the Faculty of Economics will attend Professor Pyis’s lectures, which will be delivered in English.
The HSE Perm is also organizing lectures by Professor Pyis for top Sberbank managers and for a local club of CFOs.
