Investigation of the age-related dynamics of individual values among servicemen

On January 25 Sugonyaev K.V. took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report on "Investigation of the age-related dynamics of individual values among servicemen".

In the course of the report, the data collected during the psychological support of the contract servicemen were presented, within the framework of which a study of individual values ​was conducted.

The sample size was 8987 participants from more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation. The results showed an increase in prosocial and a decline in the expression of autocentric values. The closest links with age in men were observed with estimates on the primary scale of achievement and the integral scale of autocentric values ​​(-0.33); in women - with estimates on the hedonism scale (-0.51).
